Look for Kim in the fall as Don in the film “ Crossroad” directed Shervin Youssefian and as Vincent in the web series “ Masters of the House” directed by Rachel Rath. He also got to play in two short films ( “Volcano Girl” and “Leaving the Shed”) and one TV pilot “Higher Education”. He also participated in three more short films “Lwa: A Chorus of Voices“ , “The Way the World Ends” and he also played in the film titled “On the Outside” directed by Brad Tucker.
In 2010 he was fortunate enough to be on the 2010 pre-nom ballot for Emmy consideration for Outstanding Guest Star in a Drama series & as a special unrelated bonus, I was fortunate to able to assist people who needed help in the disaster in the Gulf Of Mexico.
Kim was in the show “The Little Flower of East Orange” directed by David Fofi at the Lillian Theatre in Hollywood and also was cast in the show “Drunk Talk” at the DragonFly - and what a great run it was!
Kim also provided the voice for the scientist “Calico” in the interactive video game “DART” for TomK productions. Kim also worked on the short “The Lottery” directed by the talented Shuchi Talati in. Kim also worked on “Hawthorne” season 2 air date was July 13th . He was also a guest star on “House, MD.” as the patient Mr. Hall directed by Andrew Berstein (air date February 2010) and as Lt. Watson on “Young and the Restless” (air date 1/10) and the Sabrina Gennarino film called “After” which is in post production - he also worked on the film “Day Laborer” written and directed by Lowell Frank and he worked on the films “Grey Matter” (adapted from the Stephen King short story) directed by James Cox and produced by Andi Hamamoto and also the film “Shadow Play” directed by Nick Simon.
He was also in the Go Daddy commercials - Kim as the Honorable Judge Mays. Kim was in the "Breaking News" episode of "Cold Case" directed by Holly Dale airing on the 11th of January 2009. He also worked on the short film "Free Denmark" by Ricardo Korda. Kim had five films that were released in some form in 2008/2009 - they include "Chasing Tchaikovsky" by Greg Lalazarian, "The Birthday Gift" by Marie Tang, "Breathing Room" and "Family of Four" both directed by John Suits and " A New Tomorrow" by Carey Corr.. It was also a busy Summer in 2009 & 2010 and other than doing film/commercial work, and being in most of the Bank Of America branches across the country (even in some commercials) , he has been doing some "giving somethin' back " work as well...Kim attended the Great Plains Theatre Conference in Omaha, Nebraska in May where he was a panelist giving the actors' perspective to the new plays being "stage-read" at the conference and he was also given the honor of directing three staged readings of three great artists - with the assistance of Rob Baker. From there he went to the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska in June where he had the fantastic opportunity to participate in staged readings and to serve on a few panels and give feedback to the playwrights from the actor's perspective.
Kim was on General Hospital on April 1st and 2nd as the Honorable Judge Howard Morris in the 45th year anniversary show. He also playedTravis in the John Suits film "Family of Four" and as Mike in the quirky "Choke, Kick, Girl" directed by Danny Parker. You'll also see him as the no-nonsense Sgt. Doucet in the series "The Riches" with Eddie Izzard. You'll also see Kim in the "Doubt" episode re-runs of "Criminal Minds" (first aired Sept 26th, 2007), the "Man Down" episode of "ER"(first aired Oct 11th, 2007) as Lt. Jeffries and the "Trial By Fire" episode of "Shark"(2007) with James Woods. Last summer Kim was in San Diego and appeared in a 3 episode arc of the TV series "Saints & Sinners" as Senator Whitsett. Kim also appeared as Mr. Bowden in the "Waste Not" episode of "Numb3rs"(2006) and as Judge Chris Hannah on the series "Crossing Jordan"(2006). You will also see him as Tip Whitehead in the feature “A New Tomorrow” (2007) directed by Carey Corr. He appeared as Senator Phelps in the ABC series “Commander-In-Chief” with Gena Davis and Lisa Waltz and he appeared as Judge Pierce in the NBC series “Windfall”(2006). He also appeared in the film “Save Me”(2006) with Joanna Going, directed by Jennifer Getzinger. He also starred in the film "Each Other"(2006) directed by J. Roger Melvin and was asked by director John Suits to be Number 10 in the film "Breathing Room"(2007). He also directed by Rob Wiermair in the film "Two Dogs Inside" (2006). He also had the pleasure of working with director Martha Coolidge in Hilary Duff’s film “Material Girls”(2006). He has also appeared in the series "The Unit" as the driver in episode 5 in the 2006 season was also directed by Michael Stich in "The Bold and the Beautiful"(2006) as the detective. He also worked with Stacey Marr in the award winning short "Getting Lucky"(2006) and co-produced her latest film "No One Island" (2008) with Liz Kilmond.. He has also worked with directors Dan Mosely in "Hardwired"(2006) and with Tristan Dubois in the film "Mandelbaum"(2006). He also worked with the illustrious and talented director David LaChapelle in the H&M industrial/commercial piece “Romeo & Juliet”(2005). His work in the short films “The Fix”(2006) with director Adam Kane working with David Paymer and “Wayward”(2005) with director Tom Pankritz and co-star Kristin Cary have added more character growth and range to his acting dimensions. His work in “QIK2JDG”(2004), with director Nick Spano, is a pivotal piece of inner growth for him and has added another facet to his skill set. Director Tom Huffman also chose Kim to portray the secretive Captain in the short film “Confidential”(2004).
Kim was part of the IBM campaign and the Ameriprise Financial Services campaign. Kim was part of the current Bank of America print campaign in the banks across the country. Previously, he was part of the Union Bank of California billboard campaign around the Los Angeles area as the ‘Bank of William’. He w asalso one of the faces of Alegent Health in Omaha, Nebraska in commercials and on billboards. He is also one of the faces of the Del Webb resort billboards and ads and has appeared in numerous national commercials (Boniva, Chevron-Texaco, Colgate, Everett Colleges, Volkswagen, GSK, Barclays Investments, H&M, CIT, Ameriprise, Levitra, Oscar Meyer, Wal-Mart, Alegent, etc.), print ads and numerous industrial films and is represented commercially by the Abrams Artists Agency and modeling by KSR Models in Los Angeles, Brand Models in the Orange County area and by Shamon-Freitas in the San Diego area. He is also represented in the LA theatrical arena by Angel City Talent.
Kim had the opportunity to be cast in the staged reading of "Mayflower" directed by Josephine Hagerty at the Blank Theatre. Kim performs regularly with the Hollywood-based theatre group ‘TheSpyAnts’ Theatre company – he last appeared as Sgt. Pike/Senator Pike/Father Melvin in "The Life and Times of Tulsa Lovechild" directed by Kelly Ann Ford. He also appeared as Tony in the World Premier of E.M. Lewis' "Infinite Black Suitcase" directed by Danny Parker. Past productions include “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told” (portraying Father Joseph and the Rhino), “La Ronde” (portraying The Senator) in March of 2004 and in 2005 as three characters including the Architect in Will Kerns’ “Hellcab” at the Elephant Theatre complex. He also played three characters including the Birdman in the critically acclaimed and NAACP Theatre Award nominated production of “The Birds” at the McCadden Place Theatre – the play extended its run at the Hudson Theatre. In 2007, he attended the “The Last Frontier Theatre Conference” in Valdez, Alaska and appeared with the Itheatre Collaborative in the production of "August in April" and in 2005 he performed with the New York based Blue Roses theatre company in the production of “In Their Own Words” directed by Erma Duricko. In 2006 and 2007, he attended "The Great Plains Theatre Conference" in Omaha, Neb. as a panelist and he performed in a tribute to August Wilson in 2006. He also performed as Lou in the Rolling Theatre Companys' Production of "The Bar-B-Que Play"(2006). In 2006 he performed in TheSpyAnts production of "The Reunion" as Johnny and he once again thrilled audiences in the same role in July/Aug 2007 at the Hollywood Playhouse (Howard Fine's Acting Studio).
Kim also performed in and co-produced the Tucker Road production of Cassius Shuman's original work "The War Room" at the McCadden Theatre in 2004. And when he's not on stage he is spending time teaching and developing systems for early child hood education, teaching pre-schooler, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade kids how to count using Dominoes and the Dominaide First Math Plus tool kit (www.dominaide.com).
